Virtual Mile
Hi everybody - first, thank you if you signed up for Final Surge. We are using this to push out workouts because it is more accessible than using an Excel document like I have made in the past.
So far we have received two virtual mile times:
Evan Buisch - 6:04
Mackenzie Flaitz - 7:48
We want to put down as many names as possible, so make sure you get yours done and send us your time by Friday, please!

What Lies Ahead
If you are in any of my classes at the moment, then you probably received my note with the following quote:
“I wish it need not have happened in my time,” said Frodo. “So do I,” said Gandalf “and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us"
Well it looks like most of us will have plenty of time ahead of us. The season ahead is up in the air at the moment. The powers that be are discussing at the sectional and state level what the season will look like if we return to school on April 13th. No matter what is decided, it is better to be prepared for an opportunity and not have one than to have an opportunity and not be prepared (no, I didn't make that quote up).
With all of that said, Mr. Chi and I started a "group" on an app called Final Surge. It can be used by us to create and disseminate information to all of you, and by all of you to log what you are doing for runs. If you have a treadmill, this is n problem. If you don't, and are able to run outside then you can use this as an opportunity to improve in fitness without the stress of racing.
If you make an account on Final Surge, send me an email or message on Remind so I can add you. In the meantime, I will add our tentative schedule, sectional standards, etc. to this site. Be safe and stay healthy!
